Awhile back a Brother bestowed a new name to me…In tears I have thought about this many times….....He is a Brother from another tribe and the honor he gave me was so overwhelming it took many weeks to do this, in honor of his gift..A reflection
Lingering Smoke
I am a woman …come from the Earth
Sent to guard the kindness of the Mother.
I run where my people run
smelling the sweet grasses
where now citys stand.
I see the world in a different eye
colors are allover..the rhytum of lifes breath.
I dance where the wolves dance
lingering in the moonlight wishing on stars.
I put down the colors of preception
so others may see the beauty.
I walk with a light touch, hoping all will.
I teach the right to guard against wrong.
I am a warrior,a sleeper until awakened
to Guard the Earth.
